I saw this on highsnobiety and thought it was a pretty cool ad campaign. The global ad agency Strawberry Frog created this Tokyo cityscape as centerpiece for the Onitsuka Tiger campaign. Strawberry Frog is a pretty impressive ad agency. They've created so many fun and creative campaigns. Read the full story on this city shoe here...

new arcade fire video.
Arcade Fire's new video for their single Black Mirror is pretty cool. While watching the video you can use toggles on your keyboard to control the audio. You can turn off the drums if you like, or the vocals, or you can turn off everything and just hear the vocals. You'll have to mess with it yourself though, it's pretty entertaining. They've also released the a capella track for the single too, and I've already heard some pretty fun remixes of the song.

shaun white x target?
It's true. You will soon be able to get clothing designed by Shaun White at your nearest Target location. He has been sponsored by Target for sometime now, but he officially signed a deal with the retailer to develop a line of snow/skate inspired clothing for young boys. Read the rest of the story here. This guy is definitely a little business man. He also recently signed a 10 year partnership deal with Burton to continue riding for their global team and expanding his White Collection line. He's almost like the Payton Manning of action sports. He's so marketable and sooo good at what he does. He also recently won a gold medal for his performance in the superpipe at this years Winter X-Games as well as a bronze medal in the slope style competition. He is now the most medaled athlete at the Winter X-Games. I am definitely a fan of Shaun White. I'm so impressed every time I see him ride, it's unreal how good he is.

amazing architecture.
I could have spent hours looking at photos and reading about the 100 Most Viewed Architecture Projects at World Architecture News. I had no idea some of these buildings were being built right now. It blows my mind what architects and engineers are capable of these days.

limited edition g-shocks.
I really like these clean limited edition watches by G-Shock. They are doing a vivid color series of select watches for their 25th anniversary. They're going for $120 which isn't bad considering everything a G-Shock has to offer.

bread and butter.
I would have loved to gone to Bread and Butter Barcelona this last weekend. It's basically a huge tradeshow full of all the brands that are setting all the trends right now. There were 945 exhibitors from all over the world and more than 99,500 visitors. You can check out JeffStaple's blog for a few conversations he had with some of the exhibitors. Maybe I'll be able to squeeze in the July show titled New Order.

vans takes advantage of iphone.
With new technology comes new means for advertising and Vans is one of the first to take advantage of iPhones new technology. Creatives from the Miami Ad School Europe have developed a skateboarding game that uses the iPhone's touch screen feature to control the skaters. You can also choose different characters to skate with and of course you can choose different Vans to skate in. I think this is a pretty genius idea. It will be interesting to see what other companies will develop to reach consumers via the iPhone.

macbook air.
I know it's the natural progression of technology to make things smaller and faster, but this new MacBook Air is ridiculous. The computer is tiny. I feel like my MacBook Pro is a desktop computer compared to that thing. I shouldn't have expected anything less from Apple though. I can only wait and see what amazing thing they come out with next.

afta-1
If your a fan of instrumental albums that you can just listen to all day, than you'll probably be a fan of afta-1's aftathoughts vol.1 album. It kind of sounds like J-Dilla, only 10 years in the future. I'm really enjoying it right now. Check out his website or his myspace to listen to some of his tracks.

jeff staple interview.
One of my favorite street wear labels and industry leader, The Hundreds, recently interviewed New York based designer, entrepreneur, consultant Jeff Ng, who's better known as JeffStaple, head of Staple Design. This is an interview definitely worth reading. He's been an icon in the rapidly expanding street culture scene and design community and he's got some good bits of knowledge to share with everyone. Read the full interview on The Hundreds online magazine.

tiny houses.
I've noticed a lot of designers and architects coming up with super small scale living spaces in the last couple of years. Maybe it's in part due to the whole "green" movement, or maybe people are just realizing they don't need those 3 spare bedrooms anymore. Check out Wire's article and then check out some of Tumbleweed, and Modular Dwellings tiny spaces.

vintage Burton.
I have a special place in my heart for Burton since they were my first love when I got into snowboarding at a young age. So I like finding out about everything that has their name or logo on it. Thanks to highsnobiety, I just saw that Burton is going to be bringing out a vintage line of outerwear, which got it's inspiration from late 80's and early 90's outerwear pieces. Check out the post here for more pics.
