I was in Indianapolis over the weekend taking some wedding photos for my good friends Brent and Alex. It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun to see some old college friends.

too much chocolate.
I stumbled on a great new site a couple weeks ago. It's called Too Much Chocolate. Each week a new photographer is showcased and interviewed by a fellow photographer. So far the talent has been awesome and the discussions very interesting and inspirational. I'm looking forward to seeing where this site is headed, in the meantime I'll continue checking back for inspiration and knowledge from some talented folks.

leica safari.
I would love to get my hands on one of these Leica M8.2 Special Edition Safari cameras. Only 500 were made and you can get yours for a mere $10,000.

simon hoegsberg.
Simon Hoegsberg is a photographer from Copenhagen, Denmark. His latest project is titled 100 meters of existence and is a photo that is 100 meters long. It is an awesome idea and the the image is very intriguing. His other projects consist of him trying to hitchhike through Europe with only 14 euro, hearing stories from street artists, and learning what New Yorkers think about their faces. I love his style and creativity. His images truly do tell stories.

Here's a few engagement photos I took for my good friend and former roommate, Brent and his fiance, Alex, last week. It was freezing cold, but they were good sports about being outside in this Chicago weather.

lego camera?
I guess we can expect to see these coming this summer. They aren't actually built out of Lego bricks, but I mean I would've loved this is a kid.

the blackbird.
I saw this camera a while back, but I just noticed it again on Josh Spear's holiday gift guide, and I agree, this would be something nice to receive this Christmas. The Blackbird is a 35mm twin reflex camera that can be held to shoot from the waist or at the eye like a standard camera. It can capture images in a traditional 24x36 or in a square 24x24. Not to mention the camera just looks plain cool. They come from Japan, but you can order them in the states here, just incase.

poladroid.
Since Polaroid decided to stop making their instant film, they've given digital camera users a new alternative. You can now use Poladroid to give your photos that classic Polaroid look. All you have to do is download the application then drag and drop your pics into the tiny camera. The images even take several minutes to "develop" just like the real film. I thought I'd try it out on some photos I took this weekend at the Garfield Park Conservatory. Turns out they look pretty cool.

the image is found.
Thanks to the heads up from my good friend, Kacia, I discovered The Image Is Found, a husband and wife photo team from Oceanside, California. They are super creative with their shoots and all of their images have such a happy and fun feel to them. Check out their blog too for their current life photos and updates.
