A pretty cool new UNKLE video for his song Heaven, directed by Spike Jonze. Looks he may have used some (or all) of the footage from his Fully Flared skate video that he did for Lakai.

fever ray.
I've been listening to this group a lot lately. If you like The Knife then you will most likely enjoy the lead singer's new project, Fever Ray. Their new self-titled album is solid all the way through. I really like this video for "When I Grow Up" too.

no excuses.
A new video from Air France. Their CD "No Way Down" has been on heavy rotation for me these last several weeks. Definitely worth checking out.

it's snowing.
Due to the snow I found on the ground this morning, I've spent a decent part of my day so far watching snowboard videos online, wishing that there were mountains surrounding me, rather than buildings. But here I am and here's a couple of trailers for some videos I wouldn't mind seeing soon. Burton's "It's Always Snowing Somewhere" and Mack Dawg's "Double Decade".

going on.
New video by Gnarls Barkley. It was shot on location in Jamaica and was directed by Wendy Morgan. The choreography is great.

little bit.
Usually I don't like to play out a song that I like for fear that I'll get tired of it and end up not liking it in the end. However, once in a while I hear a song that I just can't stop listening to. This is one of those songs. This video is so good to. And if you like this check out Lykke Li's Youth Novels album with more quality pieces.

ford flex ad.
I've never really considered myself a huge Ford fan, but I kind of like this new little video they have out for their new Ford Flex comming out this summer. I guess they have to do something to keep up with Chevy's new image.

journey can help.
I know some people are a little bummed that they have to go back to work today and now all the holidays are over, but let's just remember that Journey can brighten even the roughest of days. This video is so good.

CRS.
There's been talks of super group CRS, which consists of Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Pharrell, putting out an album sometime in the near future. For now they just have this little diddy titled Us Placers featuring Thom Yorke. I really hope these aren't just rumors about CRS putting out a full length album, cause that would pretty amazing if they did. For now I'll just enjoy this video though.

Check out Common's new ad for Lincoln set right here in Chicago. I sure hope I can upgrade from the el to a Navigator some day.

heartbeats: live.
Heartbeats by The Knife is my favorite song of all time. Here's the live version of the song from their new release Silent Shout - An Audio Visual Experience 3-disk deluxe DVD set.

bat for lashes.
I was introduced to Bat for Lashes a few month ago, and have been loving what I've heard from them since. This UK based band's first album Fur And Gold is full of melodic, eerie songs with beautiful vocals. And what about this video for the song "What's A Girl To Do?" A nice long continuous shot with masked men on BMX bikes? Interesting, but fun. Also check out the song Horse and I, one of my favorites.

happy friday.
It's true Michael may have fallen on some hard times, but just look how happy he was back in the day. I love the start of this video, he loves his life. Check out this video too for some of some of his amazing live footage here. This dude can jam.

happy friday.
I know this video is a little old, but it just puts me in a good mood whenever I see it. I love the mix of colorful animation and black and white photography. Kanye is a little too cocky for my liking sometimes, but he does put out good music. Happy Friday everyone.

new lupe fiasco.
Lupe has a new album coming soon. Here's one of his new tracks featuring Matthew Santos, a fellow Chicagoin. This video is pretty cool, thanks to the direction of Hype Williams.

rocksmith lookbook.
I love style and these guys got style. Rocksmith is a company that is leading the way in street fashion. They're getting inspiration from the 80's and mixing it up with fresh designs. I like the video too. The song is by Million $ Mano, a Chicago DJ who puts on a sick live show.

winter is almost here.
I love snowboarding, but I love watching good snowboarding almost as much. Guys are doing some amazing things on snowboards these days, and what's just as impressive is the creative camera work production companies are coming up with. I can't wait to see this full length Mack Dawg production. Judging by the trailer it's going to be a great film.

oh rod.
Some things just put a smile on my face. This is one of those things. Young Turks by Rod Stewart.
