I had a fun taking a few pictures of some family friends, Avery and her baby sister, Brenna, last weekend while I was home.

coke's new look.

"While there are few companies with a richer design heritage than Coca-Cola, in recent years the company seemed to have lost its design savvy," Business Week states. And now they are starting to do something about it with a new collection of bottle designs. This could be bad for me since I'm already struggling to find room for my ever growing Coca-Cola memorabilia collection.

I was in Cincinnati over the weekend for one of my best friends weddings. It was a fun weekend and a beautiful wedding. The photographer, Megan Wynn, was also pretty amazing, as you can see. Her work is impressive. Check out her blog to see a few more pics from the wedding.

ok, now i want an iPhone.

Up until this point I've felt like I could sustain all of my cellular activity without an iPhone, but now there is an application called Beat Maker, and I kind of feel like I need an iPhone. This application is like a tiny little studio that allows you to build your own beats using sounds, loops and sequences. You can also import sounds from your computer and then export the final song to use it in your music software. From what I hear, the final product sound pretty good too. Jeeez.

Watch some of these videos too.

The work of JR is always inspiring to me. His pictures are always captivating and his street art is just plain cool. He is known for his close up portraits which he then makes into prints and places on city streets in the towns where the pictures were taken in. He's done work all over the world and his pictures can easily tell stories. Check out his website and make sure to watch some of his videos about his work.

amy stein.

Amy Stein takes amazing photos. Her images are clean, crisp, and are definitely worth 1000 words. Her series, entitled domesticated, looks at the ever changing relationship between humans and the wild. I also really like her stranded series, where she captures faces of people who have broken down on the side of highways, faces that most people speed right past. You should definitely check her out.
