I saw this camera a while back, but I just noticed it again on Josh Spear's holiday gift guide, and I agree, this would be something nice to receive this Christmas. The Blackbird is a 35mm twin reflex camera that can be held to shoot from the waist or at the eye like a standard camera. It can capture images in a traditional 24x36 or in a square 24x24. This has been in the works for a while, but Clipse's streetwear label Play Cloths launched this last weekend. The Virginia Beach duo wanted to get back to their childhood roots and design a clothing line that could be worn for work and play. It does have a similar look and feel to Pharrell's BBC and Ice Cream line, but I like it.

Since Polaroid decided to stop making their instant film, they've given digital camera users a new alternative. You can now use Poladroid to give your photos that classic Polaroid look. All you have to do is download the application then drag and drop your pics into the tiny camera. The images even take several minutes to "develop" just like the real film. HBO opened up a few fake newsstands in four cities to promote the airing of Dexter, Season 3. Amy Stein takes amazing photos. Her images are clean, crisp, and are definitely worth 1000 words. Her series, entitled domesticated, looks at the ever changing relationship between humans and the wild. I also really like her stranded series, where she captures faces of people who have broken down on the side of highways, faces that most people speed right past. You should definitely check her out.

If I ever make it over to London, I think I'll spend a night or two in The Hoxton Urban Lodge. Since opening in September 2006 The Hoxton boasts that it is a place where "urban living meets country lodge lounging". The hotel also seems to be somewhat budget friendly. The earlier you book your room, the cheaper it will be. The art and decor looks pretty cool too.

Coke Zero has put together a pretty fun little website. It's an interactive site where the player has 4 stages to pass before he/she can be allowed into the Coke Zero Lounge at the local football match.
